APOSTOLIC AND COMMUNITY LIFE COMMISSION

1.  This commission has to do with various activities that are not looked after by any other commission.

2.  It is composed of:

     a) on-going services e.g. Meals on Wheels, Flea Market helpers, Telephone Committee,

     b) some that are yearly e.g. Christmas Hampers, Food bank deliveries

     c) some that are occasional e.g. Family get-togethers, St. Patrick's Feast, Parish Picnic

     d) Computer related activities,

     e) Outreach activities e.g. single parent groups

     f) any service related to family life

3.  Others according as the need arises; e.g. a family home burns down, or some other disaster

YOUTH COMMISSION

The goal of this Commission is to provide healthy activities for youth  from Gr. 6 up and including adults 18-35 years of age.  These activities are to be formative for youth leadership and should contribute to deepening their faith.  Also, they should help young people of the community to become more involved in liturgical ministries, service and social justice issues.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

The Knights of Columbus a Catholic family, fraternal, service organization. "Faith, Family and Fraternity" make up the foundation upon which the Knights of Columbus stands. Knights of Columbus programs and projects make a large difference in communities throughout the world.  

 

 

CATHOLIC WOMEN'S LEAGUE (CWL)

A group of women who are concerned with the welfare of a parish, a diocese, and a country.  They provide leadership for women wanting to get involved in the spiritual and social needs of the parish.
